Life....

It's been almost 9 months since we've moved here to Oklahoma. That's also 9 months I've been a full time mommy. AND......... 9 months I've been out of my Radiology field which at this point I really do miss. I MISS YOU RATC!!!!
I've been staying busy with helping Shawn when he was going go school. Also, with helping Shawn with his work - he's managed to give me many small tasks to do for him to help get his department in order.
So, now summer is close - I've moved the yard several times and it's great to get out there and get some fresh air and clear my thoughts. The kids last day of school is next Friday May 21. Now that's crazy!! I'm kind of excited in a way - with all four home it'll be different. When we moved here the kids just started school so we haven't experienced the whole 4 kids at home thing. Hopefully, I can come up with little activities and things to do for them to do.
It's really different not having this house be our home. We haven't hung up many pictures or really made it ours. I don't know why - probably because it's a lease home and everything just feels temporary. Until Shawn figures out what he wants to do with his career I really don't want to build another house or move again.
I'm on the lap top and I don't have any pics downloaded to this comp. Next time I'll have to post some.

It's been quite a while since I've posted on here. I think facebook has taken over the blog. It's just easier to post on facebook. We've been in Coweta, Oklahoma since August 15 and our lives have changed quite a bit in the last several months. I'm staying at home with the Bayleigh and Averie, the bus picks up Leighanna and Zaiyn right in front of our house which is nice. I'm thinking if the right PRN job comes up it'll be time to start getting back into the field.

Hopefully - cross our fingers, everything works out and we will be leasing our Arlington home by Feb. 1st. Shawn has completed his MBA - THANK YOU! Now, he can focus a little more on his family and his career. Coweta is a very small town a lot like Pittsburg the great thing is 15-20 minutes away in Tulsa we have malls, restaurants and everything we need. We live in a small neighborhood with a pretty good size backyard that backs up to a golf course which Shawn absolutely loves. At night time it's really peaceful. We will probably stay here for another year or so depending on Shawn's job. Things have been going pretty good. I'm soo thankful that I have been able to spend so much time with the kids. That's all for now just wanted to post a little something since I've really slacked off.

The River...

We went driving around just to see what was around us - we came upon this river that was beautiful. The kids had a blast playing in the sand, chasing the birds - it was really peaceful. -UNTIL I put Averie down to play - she screamed her head off. She hated the water and hated the sand. We all had a blast anyways.

Oklahoma Family Reunion

We had a blast in Oklahoma this weekend, my family rented a cabin here for the weekend. The kids had fun catching frogs and tadpoles - It was interesting for us city folks to see raccoons all over the place at night - the kids thought it was fun to find them running around. I think that their favorite part was the hot tub and playing in the creek. Unfortunately it rained a lot before we got their and the lake and rivers were blocked due to the flooding. We still had fun, ate a lot of food which is always good and enjoyed being in the country. It's always a blessing to be with all of the family.

Leighanna once again was apart of the Art Show for Mansfield Schools. They pick a certain amount of kids from each school to participate. This is her second time to do this - she gets tickled to death when we go. She LOVES to draw. She drew a picture of some kids holding hands. It's the greenish picture to the left of her head.

Zaiyns team was in a tournament about a month ago and I'm just now posting this one. His team took 2nd after 4 games in a row, however we have now played the team that beat us and we won. (yeah!) On Friday he'll recieve his 1st place trophy for the season. Also, he recieved the game ball after one of the games which he had no idea what it really mean't but he's doing a lot better.

No recent pics of Averie and Chicken Head. I'll have to take some soon though. It rained really hard this morning and when I went to get this kids and Bayleigh (chicken head) told me "No, dunder (thunder) snot scary. No, he doesn't have legs, he can't hurt us." I thought that was pretty cute.

It's been hard lately to get on here and keep up with the blog. Here's just a couple of pics that I took this past month. Leighanna and Averies pics are my favorite... Leighannas a little momma. Our family is doing pretty good, Shawn is taking three classes this semester and opening an outpatient center in Flower Mound. He's the busiest one of all of us - I've switched my hours and now I'm working from 8 to 3 - it's really nice to get off 2 and half hours earlier. I still wonder where my days have gone? We're going to have one very crazy year but it will be a good one. We've truly been blessed. Have a good one.

We are so proud of Leighanna. For those of you that don't really know... Leighanna had a very hard start with school when she first went to Kindergarten. We held her back in Kindergarten because of multiple reasons and she has been in speech for many years. Lets just say she really has worked very hard and is a very good student in school. She's now in second grade and she absolutely loves learning new things in school. We're so happy that she was nominated as Student of the week.

I have been so bad about blogging but honestly I just haven't had much time to take or upload pictures. Hopefully that'll change here in the next couple months. Here is some of Halloween - we went trick or treating in my parents neighborhood and had a blast. The last pic if of my parents neighbor he really goes all out every single year. It's so fun. As you can tell the kids are still scared of him. We had a lot of fun and they got to play with all the cousins, we invited Shawns family over and all of my family was intown. It was really nice to all be togather.

We built our house about a year ago and we are very excited that they finished the neighborhood pool this week. We jumped in this morning (well I didn't but Shawn and the kids did) and it was really cold! Hopefully after I have Averie it'll have warmed up a bit so that we can relax by the pool for a couple weeks! Anyways - here are some pictures of it.

This weekend we went to my girlfriends and rode a pony, a four wheeler and played on the hay bails. It was pretty cold that morning but they borrowed some sweatshirts and honestly I don't think they cared how cold it was. Zaiyn was able to break out his cowboy clothes so he fit in nicely with the other cowboys. So anyways - here are some recent pictures of the kids.

The Frank Buck Zoo

Shawn, Bayleigh and I went to Muenster Texas (yes, it does exist) it's about thirty minutes north of Denton. Shawn played in a golf tournament there so Bayleigh and I went to Gainsville and played for a couple hours at the Frank Buck Zoo. It's a really small zoo but perfect for her age. The zoo has a really big Castle playground area and a little train that you can ride. She loved petting the goats but she called them puppies.

My Friends Tigger and Pooh - Bayleigh is Two!!

Bayleigh is two today! She had her "My friends Tigger and Pooh" birthday party yesterday. I really think she knew it was her little party. I can't believe how fast time really does fly. Shawn taught her today to say two when asked how old she is and she tries to show some fingers but we're still working on that. She's really starting to talk a lot and actually make sense with her words. However, she's horrible about taking pictures. This is the only picture I have so far of her Birthday that she was actually looking at the camera...sorry it's blurry.

Well, I have been meaning to put a picture of our home on here for a while so I finally found time and took a picture. So here is our new home we built in May. We have really enjoyed living here and have more room with all the kids. They each have their own room and a game room upstairs to play so there is plenty of space for them to run around and act crazy. Also I am having another girl. We haven't picked out name yet but we have a couple that we like. Hopefully I can get some newer pictures of the kids to put on here soon.

On Wednesday October 10th, I found out that I was pregnant. Oh yes, this is number four and our last. It was almost unbelievable being that I was on birth control and I thought it was 99.9 percent accurate. It's still doesn't seem real but I am pregnant and due in mid June. We're very excited and hopefully we'll have a beautiful baby boy!

Our Life...

I hope with blogging I'm able to keep in touch a little better and share with you what's going on in my family’s life a little more frequently than I do now. Shawn and I have been married now for 2 and half years. We met over 3 years ago when I was going to x-ray school at Baylor Grapevine. He pretty much had my eye from day one. We have three beautiful kids, Leighanna (7), Zaiyn (6), and Bayleigh (18months). We finished building our first home together about three months ago in Arlington. Right now this home is perfect but Shawn and I still have a desire to live in the country and have our own land. However, with Shawn's determination to be the CEO of a hospital organization, I think we'll be moving around through out the years but hopefully find some land to buy. Shawn has left Baylor after almost 6 years and is now going to be the Assistant Director of Radiology at Medical Center of Lewisville. Shawn is in his second semester of graduate school. He is enrolled in the Master of Buisness Adminstration program with a concentration in Health Care Administration at Dallas Baptist University. As for me, I recently took my Computed Tomography (CT) registry and passed. I'm working for Radiology Associates doing CT and X-ray. I absolutely love my job and everything that it consists of. Leighanna is now in the first grade, riding her bike without training wheels, becoming more girly by the day, and all about the Bratz. She is very conservative, shy, and has the sweetest heart ever. Zaiyn is in Kindergarten and for the first time was able to ride the big yellow school bus. Our neighbor asked us the other day "why does Zaiyn smile so much?” It's funny because it doesn't matter he'll have the biggest grin on his face every second of the day. It's hard when we're about to get onto him and he's just cheezing at us - sometime you just have to get him to look the other way so we don't let him see us laugh. And then there's Bayleigh, she may be a little smaller but she's definitely catching up with her big sister and brother. She's walking, talking, and testing our patience! She's not afraid of anything, unlike her brother. When we go swimming we had to put a life vest on her because she'll just jump in without us. She's the little daredevil in the family.
